Our historyThe company was founded in 1994 with the aim of bringing performance management to life. We recognised that although performance management was a critical business process, it was something that often caused disappointment and frustration within organizations. Having identified that need, we set out to offer tools that would not only support performance management processes, but would also become market leaders through their flexibility and suitability compared to larger, cumbersome and often inefficient HR systems. The founders also recognised the need to offer tools that would be used easily and effectively by the most important people in performance management – individuals, business teams and their managers. Our softwareWith over 15 years experience in the field, TPMG offers a range of high value services and proven software - web tools that enable performance management and development and in turn raise the value of human capital within the enterprise. The two flagship systems are orbitPLUS and TalkNow: orbitPLUS is a modular tool that offers best-of-breed 360 degree feedback capability, online appraisal, career review and talent management; TalkNow provides fast, flexible and cost effective employee surveys, allied to real-time reporting. All TPMG products are designed for easy and rapid deployment, which in turn provide users with flexibility, as well as tangible results in hours and days rather than months. The hosting strategy that TPMG adopts means that reliance on the client’s IT infrastructure and staff is minimised, allowing us to provide the software and our expertise to any organization that has access to the internet, via a standard web browser. Our clientsThis model has enabled TPMG to develop a unique proposition for its customers in sectors as diverse as financial and professional services, engineering, media, publishing, retailing, pharmaceuticals, transport, universities and government. We take particular pride in the fact that our relationships with these leading organizations often span many years, as systems suppliers and trusted advisers.
